Do you remember going to the local street fair as a child?

Do you remember the Swings?

The Swings were perfect because they didn't go too high, they didn't swing you too fast and the breeze blowing through your tangled hair was

tinted with the scent of fried "elephant ears".

I've had the pleasure of feeling that way without the "carnies" scaring me

or the stomach ache after the fried yummy foods ....

For the very first time my

hilarious second child Julian

has pee'd in the "poppy" .

My first child Franco started Pre-K

Last but not least,

Figgys has a Fall line open house on Friday!!

I'm spinning with delight and a little fear!

I have a feeling the next ride to come will be a little more intense

but, I'm fully prepared with tissues, band aids

& germ X, and those things are just for me :)
